SHOW FEE REDUCTION OPPORTUNITY

For the past twenty years, one of the main objectives of Joan and I organizing art and craft shows has been to provide exhibitors with a venue in which they would have the greatest opportunity to have a successful show.  Reasonable rates, good promotion, quality arts and crafts, and ease of set-up and breakdown have been the cornerstones of our shows.

Now with little or no signs of the economy improving in the near future and shows continuing to be down, we wish to offer you an opportunity to participate in our three main show at a reduced fee.

The three shows are the 14th Annual Art in the Park in Stuart, November 29-30, the 2nd Annual Christmas in the park at Riverside Park in Vero Beach, December 6-7 and the 2nd Annual Winter Arts and Craft Show in St Augustine, February 7-8.

The Stuart Show will continue to have advertising in the Treasure Coast Newspapers and the Palm Beach Post with the Post being a co-sponsor for the 14th time.  Since a portion of the proceeds go to benefit the United Way of Martin County, TV, radio, and print media promote this show via public service announcements.  Additionally, 4 banners are placed at high visibility intersections in Stuart and flyers are sent to restaurants and motels.  We also hope to have a write-up for the shows as we have had in the past.  We are also considering having advertising on Comcast cable.

The Vero Beach show will again be advertised in The Vero Beach, Sebastian, Fort Pierce, Port St Lucie and Stuart Newspapers.  Over 12 real estate type signs will be placed around the city: a banner will be placed at Riverside Park, visible to people attending shows at the Riverside Theatre and we will also have an ad in the Playbill of the Riverside Theatre for two months.  This ad will be seen by the public attending the Riverside Theatre nine or ten times a week for over eight weeks.  We are also considering Comcast as we did last year.

The St Augustine show willl have the usual excellent advertisng in the Record as well as show announcements in the neighboring cites such as Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala and Daytona Beach.  This show also benefits the United Way of St Johns County so public service announcements will be sent to TV, radio and other print media.  Flyers will be posted in restaurants and motels.  A banner will be placed at the entrance to Francis Field where the show will held  This banner will be facing the 1500 car parking garage which is immediately adjacent to the show.  Last February's show was very successful due to having a great write up in the Record.  We also have an excellent review of the show in the latest edition of Where The Shows Are.

Now then, to receive reduced rates for these shows you must participate in all three shows.  Pay the $125 for the Stuart Show and receive a $25 reduced fee for both the Vero Beach and St Augustine shows.  The fees for these two shows must be paid for in full no later than the Stuart Show (November 29-30).  No coupons will be accepted for these shows and there will be no refunds less than 30 days before each show.  At the St Augustine show, you will receive a $25 refund from the Stuart Show.

An additional incentive is that if you require a double booth containing the same work, you can receive the second booth at a 50% discount plus receive the above discounts.

We know the past few years have been difficult for many of you, and we hope the above offer will allow you to have the opportunity to be as successful as you have been in the past.
